Rosewood comes to Greece

Rosewood arrives in Greece with the transformation of Crete’s iconic Blue Palace, now set to reopen in mid-2026, ahead of its originally planned 2027 debut.

Located between the fishing village of Plaka and the refined harbour of Elounda, the resort is being redesigned by the acclaimed K-Studio, while London-based designer Afroditi Krassa will shape the six restaurants and bars.

The property will feature 154 rooms and suites, including 85 with private pools.

Positioned as a wellness-led destination, Rosewood Blue Palace will feature Asaya, Rosewood’s holistic wellbeing concept, alongside a fitness centre, yoga pavilion and hydrotherapy facilities, complemented by three outdoor pools overlooking the Aegean.

The opening marks a significant step in Rosewood Hotels & Resorts’ European expansion, with additional projects underway in Milan and Rome.
