The Zetter is coming to Amsterdam

The Zetter Collection is heading to Amsterdam. The British boutique hotel group has announced plans for international expansion with the opening of The Zetter 717 Amsterdam scheduled for early 2027.
Located on Prinsengracht in Amsterdam’s UNESCO-listed Canal District, the five-star boutique hotel is set within a historic canal house dating back to 1810, with a rear structure dating back to the 17th century. The intimate hotel will feature just 24 bedrooms.
The property is being redesigned by James Thurstan Waterworth and his studio Thurstan, who were also behind The Zetter Bloomsbury. The interiors will combine the historic character of the building with aged brass, reclaimed timber, antique mirrors and rich textiles.
The Garden Room will offer a botanical, conservatory-style setting for breakfast overlooking the hotel’s private garden. Alongside it, The Library will provide a more intimate space for drinks and small bites.
The hotel will be led by General Manager Yara Al Hattouni.
The Amsterdam opening follows the arrival of The Zetter Bloomsbury in London earlier this year. The 68-room hotel opened across six interconnected Georgian townhouses next to the British Museum and marked the group’s first new hotel in around a decade.
The Zetter Collection currently operates three hotels in London: The Zetter Clerkenwell, The Zetter Marylebone and The Zetter Bloomsbury. The group also manages Marrable’s Hotel in Clerkenwell.
