Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants is expanding its presence in Mexico with new openings.
In the Riviera Maya, Kimpton is set to open its first all-inclusive resort. The property will feature 355 suites overlooking mangroves or the Caribbean Sea, along with seven restaurants and five bars. Guests will have access to morning yoga sessions in natural surroundings, aqua aerobics in tranquil pools, and walks along eco-trails, with wellness integrated throughout including the 10000 sq ft Kej Spa.
In Mexico City, Kimpton El Castelar will soon become the brand’s second hotel in the city, joining the already open Kimpton Virgilio. The property will offer 34 charming rooms. Both are located in Polanco, known for its luxury hotels, fine dining, galleries and boutiques.
A further Kimpton hotel is also planned in Monterrey.
The expansion builds on recent openings in Mexico, including Hotel Indigo Playa del Carmen in 2025, with Kimpton Mas Olas Resort and Spa in Todos Santos on the Baja California Sur peninsula having opened in 2024.
