Orient Express opens in Venice with Airelles and Four Seasons to follow

Venice has welcomed the long-awaited opening of Orient Express Venezia, marking a significant moment for the city’s evolving luxury hospitality scene.
Set within a 15th-century palace built in 1436, the property has undergone an eight-year renovation led by architect Aline Asmar d’Amman. Once home to the Duke of Urbino as well as the noble Donà and Giovannelli families, the historic residence has been reimagined as an intimate luxury hotel.
Orient Express Venezia features 47 rooms and suites, overlooking either gardens or the canals, offering a rare sense of space and tranquillity in the heart of the city.
A key highlight is Heinz Beck Venezia, the hotel’s dinner-only fine dining restaurant, designed as a sophisticated and romantic setting for an immersive gastronomic experience.
2026 is shaping up to be a defining year for Venice. Airelles is set to open later this month, further strengthening the city’s ultra-luxury positioning.
At the same time, Four Seasons is expected to open within Hotel Danieli, with reservations currently open from 1 June, marking a new chapter for one of Venice’s most iconic addresses.
