Anantara to debut in the US in 2030

Anantara, the luxury brand of Minor Hotels, has announced the launch of Anantara Miami Resort and Residences, set to open in 2030 – marking the brand’s debut in the United States.

The 50-storey tower, rising approximately 650 feet above Biscayne Bay in Miami’s Edgewater neighbourhood, will feature 54 hotel suites, 120 private branded condominium residences, and 120 resort residences that owners can place into the hotel rental programme.

The hotel will occupy the building’s first three floors and offer a full range of luxury amenities, including a pool terrace and a private rooftop helipad.

A key differentiator will be its strong wellness focus. Anantara Miami aims to position itself as an urban sanctuary, blending ancient Thai healing traditions with modern longevity practices. The dedicated vitality centre will focus on movement, nutrition and recovery.

The project is being developed in partnership with One Thousand Group. Architecture is led by KPF in collaboration with ODP Architecture & Design, while Milan-based designer Patricia Urquiola will oversee the interiors – marking her first residential project in the United States.
