Delano is set to open in London

London is all about exciting hotel openings this year, and another highly anticipated name is set to join the capital’s luxury hotel scene before the end of 2026: Delano.
What we know so far:
Delano London marks the iconic hotel brand’s debut in the UK, taking over the former Baglioni Hotel London at 60 Hyde Park Gate in South Kensington, moments from Kensington Gardens.
With just 67 rooms and suites planned, the intimate property is considerably smaller than many of the capital’s recent luxury hotel openings.
Archer Humphryes Architects is behind the transformation, overseeing the architecture and interior design as well as bespoke furniture and other elements of the property. The project also represents something of a full-circle moment for the studio: founders David Archer and Julie Humphryes worked with Ian Schrager and Philippe Starck earlier in their careers and were involved during the period when the original Delano Miami was redefining lifestyle hospitality.
Rather than recreating Miami in London, the design reinterprets Delano’s visual identity for its new setting. The interiors combine the brand’s signature “Delano white” with darker tones, rich textures, natural materials and organic forms. At the heart of the lobby, a fireplace leads the way to a library and curated retail space. The guestrooms will also feature a new interpretation of Delano’s signature “apple a day” tradition.
Food and beverage plays a major role in the new hotel. Lana Lusa, Ennismore’s F&B concept, makes its London debut on the ground floor, while Delano’s legendary Rose Bar arrives from Miami in an intimate subterranean setting.
Rose Bar is conceived with dusky red lighting, sculptural textures and low-slung velvet seating. The wider lower-ground-floor area will extend across approximately 290 square metres, incorporating lounge, meeting and private dining spaces as well as areas for live music and events.
Wellness comes in the form of The Source, Delano London’s dedicated wellness offering, although further details about its facilities have yet to be revealed.
The hotel is being developed in partnership with Signature Developers and DCD Properties as part of Delano’s new international chapter under Ennismore.
Delano London follows the reopening of the original Delano Miami Beach in 2026, while the brand is also expanding internationally with further projects including New York, Marrakech and Puglia.
An exact opening date for Delano London has yet to be announced, with the hotel currently expected to open later this year.
