Rocco Forte refreshes Hotel Savoy in Florence and Hotel de Russie in Rome

Rocco Forte Hotels has completed the refurbishment of Hotel Savoy in Florence and the latest phase of works at Hotel de Russie in Rome. Led by Olga Polizzi, Director of Design at Rocco Forte Hotels, the projects reflect the group’s approach to creating hotels deeply connected to their destinations while offering a contemporary luxury experience.
Following a €9 million, three-year refurbishment, Hotel Savoy has unveiled redesigned rooms and suites, refreshed public spaces and two new dining concepts: the reimagined Irene restaurant and the newly introduced Bar Artemisia. The transformation celebrates Florence’s craftsmanship, culture and artistic heritage through locally sourced materials and bespoke design.
Meanwhile, Hotel de Russie has completed the latest phase of its refurbishment with redesigned arrival and reception areas inspired by Rome’s timeless elegance. Developed in collaboration with Studio Moschino, the project introduces refined new interiors, bespoke furnishings and redesigned arrival spaces while remaining true to the hotel’s historic character.
The two projects highlight Rocco Forte Hotels’ continued investment in its portfolio as the group prepares for further expansion with upcoming openings in Costa Smeralda, as well as Palazzo Castelluccio in Noto and Palazzo Sirignano in Naples in 2027, followed by Masseria del Cardinale in Puglia in 2028.
