Park Hyatt is coming to Comporta in Portugal

Park Hyatt has announced plans to open Park Hyatt Comporta in 2029, marking the luxury hotel brand’s debut in Portugal.

Set along Portugal’s Alentejo coast, the resort is being developed in partnership with Portuguese real estate developer Coporgest and is planned to feature 58 guestrooms and suites, six two-bedroom private villas and 22 Park Hyatt branded residences.

The residences will be fully serviced, with owners having access to the hotel’s amenities and services.

Facilities are expected to include a collection of restaurants, swimming pools, a wellness space and fitness centre, a padel court and kids’ club.

Park Hyatt Comporta will also be located adjacent to Troia Golf Course, an 18-hole course designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr., with four additional golf courses within approximately 20 minutes of the resort.

Located within around an hour of Lisbon Airport, Park Hyatt Comporta will join the brand’s existing European portfolio, which currently includes properties in Vienna, Paris, Milan, Zurich, Istanbul and London.

Looking ahead, Park Hyatt continues to expand its international portfolio with upcoming openings including Park Hyatt Phu Quoc, Park Hyatt Riviera Maya, Park Hyatt Mexico City, Park Hyatt Vancouver and Park Hyatt Taormina.
