Now open: Andaz Lisbon

The long-awaited Andaz Lisbon has officially opened its doors, marking the brand’s debut in Portugal.

Set within Lisbon’s historic Baixa district, the hotel offers views of Praça do Comércio and the Tagus River waterfront.

The property features 170 rooms and suites designed to reflect the city’s heritage and the brand’s contemporary lifestyle approach. Interiors combine traditional Portuguese materials such as cork, stone, mosaic tiles and mahogany with a modern aesthetic. Bathroom amenities are by Byredo.

Among the highlights is Luzzi, the hotel’s rooftop restaurant and terrace serving modern Lusitanian cuisine alongside sweeping views over Lisbon.

Guests also have access to a Technogym-equipped fitness centre. A spa is expected to open soon. The property is pet-friendly.

The opening follows the debut of Andaz Shanghai earlier this year, as Hyatt continues to expand the Andaz lifestyle brand globally. The next major opening on the horizon is Andaz Turks & Caicos at Grace Bay.
