One of the Caribbean projects to keep an eye on is Anantara Turks and Caicos Resort & Residences, scheduled to open in 2029 along the untouched Sandy Point coastline of North Caicos.
The development will feature 78 guest rooms, suites and branded residences, bringing the luxury brand to Turks and Caicos for the first time. Guests and residents will have access to an Anantara Spa, fitness centre, yoga studios, tennis, padel and pickleball courts, as well as a dedicated water sports centre.
Additional highlights include multiple swimming pools, an on-site observatory for celestial and night-time experiences, beachfront restaurants, a wine cellar, a sunset rooftop bar and marina access with private berths.
Launched by Minor Hotels in 2001, Anantara is celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2026, marking a quarter-century of growth from its first resort in Thailand into a global luxury hospitality brand.
Further openings are planned across China, Oman, Portugal, Indonesia, the UAE, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, Tanzania and Argentina, alongside the recently announced Anantara Miami Resort & Residences.
