Pharrell is bringing a new luxury hotel to Paris

Paris is set to gain another major luxury hotel, with Pharrell Williams among the partners behind the transformation of the former Hôtel Saint-James & Albany in the city’s prestigious 1st arrondissement.
Together with Mohari Hospitality and Omnam Investment Group, the American musician, designer and Louis Vuitton Men’s Creative Director acquired the historic property in 2024, marking the first co-investment between Williams and the Mohari-Omnam partnership.
Located between Rue de Rivoli and Rue du 29 Juillet, directly opposite the Tuileries Garden, the property occupies one of central Paris’s most prominent locations, close to the Louvre, Place Vendôme and Rue Saint-Honoré.
The former Hôtel Saint-James & Albany is a historic complex with elements dating back several centuries. Part of the property incorporates the former Hôtel de Boullongne, built in 1751 by architect Michel Tannevot for Jean-Nicolas de Boullongne de Nogent.
The property is now undergoing an extensive transformation, with major works currently underway at the historic site. Current plans include rooms and suites, restaurants and bars, a swimming pool, extensive spa and fitness facilities and a small collection of private residences.
Paris-based architecture studio Valode & Pistre is involved in the transformation.
The development marks another move into hospitality for Pharrell Williams, who previously partnered with David Grutman on The Goodtime Hotel in Miami Beach, which opened in 2021.
The final name, hotel operator and opening date have yet to be announced.
