Kuala Lumpur’s next luxury landmark: Waldorf Astoria now accepting reservations

Luxury travellers can now secure their stay at one of Southeast Asia’s most anticipated hotel openings. With its launch later this year drawing ever closer, Waldorf Astoria Kuala Lumpur has officially opened reservations for arrivals from January 2027.
Located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur’s prestigious Golden Triangle, the hotel will offer 268 all-suite accommodations, ranging from 80-square-metre one-bedroom suites to the spectacular 745-square-metre Waldorf Astoria Suite. Thoughtfully designed with generous living spaces, refined materials and floor-to-ceiling windows, every suite has been created to showcase panoramic views across the Malaysian capital.
A defining element of the guest experience will be Layan Tetamu, a reimagined Malaysian philosophy of hospitality rooted in sincerity, intuition and deeply personalised service, bringing a distinctly local interpretation to Waldorf Astoria’s renowned approach to luxury hospitality.
Dining is set to become one of the hotel’s defining highlights. Spread across seven restaurants and bars, the culinary programme brings together internationally acclaimed chefs and distinctive concepts. Renowned French chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten is behind JG KL, ABC Kitchens KL and The Bar by JG, combining classical French techniques with Asian influences, seasonal local produce and his signature philosophy of balance, freshness and precision.
Meanwhile, Michelin-starred chef Garima Arora will introduce Yaari, a contemporary Indian restaurant whose name translates as friendship in Hindi. The venue will reinterpret traditional Indian flavours through a modern lens while celebrating warmth and conviviality.
Guests can also discover Istana, showcasing Malaysia’s royal culinary heritage, enjoy Waldorf Astoria’s legendary afternoon tea at Peacock Alley, or unwind with craft cocktails at Coda, an intimate bar where music-inspired mixology creates a seamless dialogue between taste, sound and artistry.
Complementing the culinary offering is a 2,275-square-metre wellness sanctuary, set to become one of Kuala Lumpur’s largest luxury spas, offering an extensive selection of treatments alongside comprehensive fitness and relaxation facilities.
With reservations now open, Waldorf Astoria Kuala Lumpur is set to become a defining new address for luxury hospitality in Malaysia, raising the bar with its all-suite concept, culturally rooted service philosophy, world-class dining and expansive wellness offering.
