Accor’s Top-Reviewed Hotels: Guest favorites around the world

Accor has released an overview of its best-rated hotels worldwide based on guest satisfaction.
Unsurprisingly, Raffles The OWO in London (4.8/5.0) made the list — a landmark transformation and one of Europe’s most impressive hotel openings in recent years.
Sofitel Legend Casco Viejo, Panama (4.8/5.0) also appears, and having stayed there recently, I can confirm it delivers an exceptional experience rooted in historic elegance and local character.
Another strong contender is Raffles Europejski Warsaw (4.8/5.0), where I’ve stayed twice. It remains one of Warsaw’s top hotels, combining heritage with contemporary sophistication.
Also featured is Fairmont Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten, Hamburg (4.9/5.0) — frequently ranked as Germany’s best hotel. I’ve stayed there several times and, while it is a masterpiece of heritage and tradition, I’ve had mixed experiences personally.
Leading the ranking, however, is Sofitel Guiyang Hunter in China (5.0/5.0), followed by three Grand Mercure properties in Indonesia — a strong reminder that exceptional hospitality isn’t defined by price tag or address, but by service culture. No surprise that Asian hospitality continues to outperform, while in parts of Europe, legacy and prestige too often replace genuine warmth — sometimes even slipping into arrogance. A fascinating contrast in what guests truly value today.
