At The World’s 50 Best Hotels 2025 ceremony in London, Rosewood Hong Kong was named The World’s Best Hotel.
Hong Kong impressively claimed two places in the top ten, with The Upper House ranking 10th. Bangkok also stood out, with three properties featured among the top ten: Four Seasons Bangkok at Chao Phraya River in 2nd place, Capella Bangkok in 3rd, and Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok in 7th.
Europe saw two Italian properties make the top ten: Passalacqua on Lake Como, ranked 4th and awarded Best Hotel in Europe and Best Boutique Hotel, alongside Four Seasons Firenze in 9th place. Notably, Four Seasons is the only hotel brand represented twice in this year’s top ten – a clear statement of enduring excellence.
A list that proves the world’s most exceptional stays are shifting ever eastward, though Italy still reminds the world that la dolce vita never goes out of style.
