The Florentin – A New Luxury Urban Retreat in Frankfurt

Frankfurt is welcoming a new chapter in luxury hospitality: The Florentin, the latest jewel of the Althoff Collection, opening its doors with bookings available from November 1st.

Set within a grand villa built in 1901 by banker Eduard Beit von Speyer, the property carries a storied past. Many will remember it as the Villa Kennedy under Rocco Forte. Now, as The Florentin, the property enters a new era, by the owner-operated Althoff Hotels, seamlessly blending historical charm with contemporary spirit.

Guests can expect spacious accommodations, from Deluxe Rooms (32–36 m²) and Junior Suites (43–52 m²) to Florentin Suites, Corner Suites, and Loft Suites, alongside nine distinctive Signature Suites located in the historic villa itself.

The culinary concept will be a highlight, with The Garden Restaurant, the Destination Restaurant and the stylish Florentin Bar. Wellness is equally central to the experience, with a spa featuring an indoor pool, Finnish sauna, and much more.

For me, this reopening feels personal. The villa has long been one of my most beloved hotels in Germany, and I am truly looking forward to seeing it begin a new life as The Florentin.
