Minor Reserve Collection: First properties announced

Minor Hotels has announced the first properties under its new luxury collection brand, Minor Reserve Collection.

In Slovenia, following refurbishment, Hotel Palace Portorož will relaunch in Q1 2027 as Hotel Palace Portoroz, Minor Reserve Collection Slovenia. The 183-key resort reflects the destination’s longstanding wellness heritage and will feature three restaurants and three bars, a spa, indoor and outdoor pools, and beach access.

In Brazil, Aventora Resort Baía Formosa, Minor Reserve Collection is scheduled to open in 2028 in Rio Grande do Norte in the northeast of the country, a region recognised for eco-tourism. The new-build resort will offer 50 guest rooms and 28 branded residences alongside world-class gastronomy and outdoor experiences including kite surfing, surfing, stand-up paddleboarding and mangrove kayaking. Facilities will include a fitness centre, exercise studio and dedicated spa.

Minor Hotels has also confirmed that Adriatic Istria Resort in Croatia will undergo extensive refurbishment and relaunch as Anantara Adriatic Istria Resort in early 2027, and that it will also introduce the Anantara brand to Australia with the signing of Anantara Perth Hotel, anticipated to open in 2032.
