Danieli, a Four Seasons Hotel, Venice is now accepting reservations ahead of its debut in August 2026. Guests can book stays from 26 August 2026.
The hotel will initially launch with 120 rooms and suites, with a further 56 accommodations scheduled to follow in 2027. Once complete, the full offering will total 176 rooms and suites, including 97 rooms and 79 suites.
The project marks the conversion and comprehensive renovation of the legendary Hotel Danieli, the oldest hotel in Venice, now entering a new chapter under the Four Seasons brand.
The transformation preserves the property’s historic identity while reimagining it through a contemporary lens, positioning Danieli among the most significant luxury hotel debuts in Europe in 2026.
Set directly on the lagoon waterfront along the iconic Riva degli Schiavoni, just steps from Piazza San Marco, Danieli spans three interconnected palaces that have long formed part of Venice’s architectural and cultural fabric.
Following meticulous restoration, modernization and redecoration by Pierre-Yves Rochon, the hotel brings together centuries of Venetian elegance with the intuitive service culture for which Four Seasons is internationally recognised.
“Venice has long been a city we aspired to welcome into our growing portfolio of luxury experiences, and it is with deep appreciation for its place in history, and immense excitement for what lies ahead, that we usher in a new chapter for the storied Danieli hotel,” says Adrian Messerli, President, Hotel Operations – Europe, Middle East and Africa. “Gruppo Statuto – our owner-partners here and in Milan, Taormina and our future property in Berlin – have once again shown remarkable commitment to transforming a historic property into a modern expression of luxury that is both respectful of the past, and visionary in its approach to the future.”
Culinary experiences at Danieli will be led by Executive Chef Adriano Rausa. Restaurant Terrazza Danieli, located on the rooftop, will offer panoramic views across the lagoon and Venice’s distinctive skyline. Menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner will focus on refined interpretations of Italian cuisine, highlighting seasonal, locally sourced ingredients, including produce from Venice’s Sant’Erasmo island.
The hotel will feature two distinct bar venues. Bar Dandolo, named after the hotel’s original owners and located just off the lobby, offers an elegant setting for cocktails, fine wines, as well as coffee and tea service. On the rooftop, the Terrazza Danieli bar provides a relaxed setting for aperitivo, particularly at sunset, overlooking the water.
In late 2026, the Danieli Spa is to be unveiled, adding a dedicated wellness experience to the hotel’s offering.
The Venice debut forms part of a significant year of growth for Four Seasons. Other notable openings in 2026 include the Four Seasons Hotel and Residences Cartagena, the Four Seasons Hotel Mykonos, and The Park Gstaad.
