Corinthia expands to Lake Como

Corinthia Hotels has announced plans to open a new luxury resort in Italy, with Corinthia Lake Como scheduled to welcome its first guests in 2028. The property will be located in the alpine village of Menaggio, on the western shore, offering direct access to the water at one of the lake’s widest points.

The resort will feature 58 rooms and suites, alongside an extensive spa and wellness offering, curated dining experiences and a private lakefront club providing guests with direct access to the lake. The hotel will be built adjacent to the grounds of Italy’s second-oldest golf course. 

Corinthia Lake Como will mark the brand’s second property in Italy, following the upcoming opening of Corinthia Rome, which is set to debut in February.

Beyond Italy, Corinthia continues to expand its global footprint with several high-profile projects in development. These include Corinthia Gewan Island in Qatar, expected to open in 2027, as well as Corinthia Maldives, planned for 2028. Further projects are also underway in Dubai and Riyadh.
